Open, closed, and set aside
Each tag shows normally open or normally closed. Tap the mark to flip it. When a valve is marked for lockout, that mark stays on the card with the rest of the record.

What you write on a tag
The card keeps the notes you already use when you walk a unit.
Tag identityThe name you give that valve.
ServiceWhat the line carries, including a service you type yourself.
SizeA nominal size, in inches or DN.
Place and lineLocation on the unit, plus the line reference you record.

A shelf of process units
Keep each area as its own unit. Add a unit, open the one you are working, and copy a unit when the next area should start from the same set of tags.

Find the valves in front of you
Search by tag, service, or location. Then narrow the book and put it in the order you want.

One tag, or a full run
Save a tag on its own. Or add many together: a numbered run, or a list you paste. A run and a pasted list can share one service, size, location, and line reference, with a default open or closed position.

A sheet for the handoff
Open the tags in the current view as a plain sheet, then share that sheet from the app. On a wider screen the book itself lays out in two columns.
